Always
a design fanatic, Gail DiNoto has
been decorating and redecorating most of her life. In her homes
or those of friends and family, maximizing space and functionality,
enhancing comfort, and creating beautiful living spaces has
been a long-time hobby. As a young girl she shopped for fabrics
to design and create her own clothing and after years of dabbling
in design and working at Polo Clothing, Mfg. caressing and learning
about wonderful textiles, she decided to turn her passion for
design and decorating into a career.
A graduate of Hesser College's Interior Design program and
a graduate of the Academy of Design & Decorating, Gail worked
as a designer at Ethan Allen before founding Design Solutions
by Gail. Her proud affiliations include: The
Interior Design Society, (IDS), The
Association of Design Education, (ADE), Interior
Redesign Industry Specialists, (IRIS) and We
Make Color Easy (WMCE). She frequently attends workshops
and trainings to sharpen her skills and stay at the forefront
of design trends.
Gail volunteers her expertise and services to "Havens
for Healing" a partnership between The
National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC) and Interior
Redesign Industry Specialists (IRIS) in a nationwide effort
to "Break the Silence" about ovarian cancer with public
awareness and education. In addition to increasing public awareness
about the symptoms of this cancer and to facilitate earlier
detection when the prognosis is good, the goal is to create
a comfortable "haven" in the survivors home in which
they can focus on rest, healing and wellness.
